Curriculum for Excellence clip example

This clip  can be directly linked to the Curriculum for Excellence for secondary stages. The main topic is the Victorians to the Elizabethans in North East Scotland. This time period was a very significant time of great great invention when step changes in how work was done. Moving away from labour intensive processes to more machines being used. Our educational resources have been validated by Historic Environment Scotland as suitable for distribution to Scottish schools via their digital portal. All our other validated clips also have strong linkage to the Curriculum for Excellence. The clip features the Doric dialect of Aberdeenshire and pupils should be encouraged to use the dialect of their own region and the language of home within their educational journey.
